KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa., Nov. 14, 2018 /PRNewswire/ — Camber Spine, a leading innovator in spine and medical technologies, today announced the completion of 45 successful implantations utilizing ENZA®-A Titanium ALIF in less than 30 days since it’s launch.
Seth Anderson, Vice President of Sales and Surgeon relations commented “We are extremely pleased with the feedback we are receiving from the designing surgeons who are touting the simplicity and safety of ENZA®-A which can be inserted, deployed and locked all through the inline instrumentation of the inserter drastically reducing complexity and surgery time over competitive options.” Camber Spine’s 3D printed ENZA®-A Titanium ALIF is a unique, minimally invasive interbody fusion device providing integrated fixation. “We expect a full national launch of this product by the end of the year as inventory increases in the next few weeks. Camber Spine is actively engaging distributors in all 50 states in the U.S.”
ENZA®-A Titanium ALIF is an interbody fusion device consisting of a 3D printed titanium body with a roughened surface that encourages bone growth onto the cranial and caudal surfaces of the device. The upper and lower faces are deliberately designed with pores that average 500 microns in diameter, the optimal environment for bone to grow and fully incorporate the implant with the vertebral bodies. ENZA®-A has multiple openings to allow a large volume of autogenous bone graft to be easily packed into the implant to further facilitate fusion. Similar to the original ENZA®, this device features two sharpened anchor plates that are housed within the 3D-printed body until they are deployed into the adjacent vertebrae to provide fixation.
“ENZA®-A is truly a unique and next-level interbody technology for surgeons,” stated Patrick O’Hara of Nuwave Spine. “As a distributor, Camber Spine’s ENZA®-A provides my team and I with a new best-in-class device superior to competitive options that we have represented in the past. It has opened opportunities for our sales team with several new surgeons in our area.”
